Kim Garner

Kimberly Garner is a Colorado native, wife to her fireman husband, and proud mom of five amazing children ranging from ages 10 to 22. After many years in North Denver, her family relocated to a small plot of land in Franktown, where they are embracing the art of homesteading while running a family event planning business.

Now in her 14th year of homeschooling, Kimberly has successfully graduated two students, with her third entering senior year. Her homeschooling journey has been marked by strong leadership and deep community involvement. Over the years, she has served in numerous roles within the programs her family has joined—from field trip coordinator and party planner to her most recent position as Community Director at a homeschool program in Colorado Springs. There, she led initiatives including moms’ groups, service projects, dances, field trips, and mentorship programs for homeschooling parents.

Kimberly thrives in what she affectionately calls “the fun stuff”—the relational, community-building aspects of homeschooling. She is passionate about creating spaces where families feel seen, supported, and connected. As she joins the Castlewood Classical Academy team, Kimberly is excited to invest her heart, experience, and energy into building a joyful and thriving co-op community—one that nurtures both academic and relational growth.
