Castlewood Classical Academy provides a trivium inspired education in the arts and sciences, with a focus on imparting timeless principles of moral character and virtue in an academic environment that is firmly grounded within our nation's tradition of ordered liberty.

Meet the Director: Cassie Cini
Cassie Cini is an accomplished educator and Program Director for Castlewood Classical Academy, a classically-based homeschool collaborative in Castle Rock, Colorado. With over a decade of teaching experience and a passion for innovative education, Cassie brings exceptional leadership and a heart for fostering academic and personal growth in students and families.
Cassie's journey in education began in public schools, where she honed her skills in creating inclusive and engaging classrooms. She earned her Master of Arts in Elementary Education University of Colorado, Denver, followed by endorsements in Special Education and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. These credentials, paired with her years of experience, have equipped her to develop instructional strategies that meet the diverse needs of learners.
Before her current role at CCA, Cassie was a founding teacher and Math Lead at an academic homeschool education program, where she played a pivotal role in training staff, equipping parents, and mentoring educators. Her contributions included developing resources, hosting professional development sessions, and guiding families through collaborative education models.
Cassie’s leadership extends beyond the classroom. She has organized community events, such as science/history fairs and school plays, which highlight her commitment to cultivating creativity and collaboration among students. Her dedication to lifelong learning and service ensures that Castlewood Classical Academy continues to thrive as a supportive and enriching environment for homeschooling families.
When not leading CCA, Cassie is a fellow homeschool mom of four who enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time outdoors with her family. She especially loves hiking in Castlewood Canyon! Her vision is to empower parents and educators to cultivate a love of learning and a foundation of faith in every student’s journey.
A Classical Hybrid Approach
Teachers and parents work in cooperation to provide high quality education for their students.

Students participate in a homeschool partner program at Castlewood Classical Academy, attending twice a week. On the remaining days, they continue their studies at home under the guidance of their parents, supported by the educational framework and resources provided by Castlewood’s dedicated faculty.
Castlewood Classical Academy is housed in the downtown Castle Rock area (1st-8th Grade) and offers students a comprehensive and well-rounded education. Location contracts are being finalized and will be published by April 30th.
Castlewood Classical Academy is a proud member of the Forging Education network, which includes a variety of schools and homeschool enrichment programs. Forging Education is dedicated to collaborating with parents to foster a secure learning environment where students can develop both academically and spiritually.
